Its compact size makes it perfect for any desk setup, fitting neatly without taking up much space. It also offers excellent connectivity, easily linking to other devices via Bluetooth for better audio performance. Its convenience and practicality make it a valuable addition to your desk.
2. Bridgy Desktop Vacuum: A Cleaner Workspace
Next is the Bridgy Desktop Vacuum. A clean desk is always an important part of maintaining a productive workspace. This handy vacuum is available for around $50 and is a great cleaning solution with many attachments. These attachments include a flexible hose, suction nozzle with brush, blow nozzle, hose adapter, and crevice tool. There is also a convenient USB-C charging port.
I did notice how much cleaner my keyboard was after using the vacuum. I was able to clean out the corners of my monitors as well. Not only was I able to clean around my desk, I found that the vacuum worked on the fabric of my Steelcase leap and under couch cushions. While it may not be the most powerful, its effectiveness is evident in the amount of dirt it collects, making it a practical choice for routine desk maintenance.
3. Govee 15-Inch Light Bars: Enhance Your Visual Experience
Lighting can dramatically affect the mood and functionality of your workspace. The Govee 15-inch Light Bars are designed to enhance the visual experience of your desk or entertainment area. They have flexible placement so they can be mounted behind monitors or placed on stands. It features an easy-to-use app connecting via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to control the lighting.
This light bar also has voice control compatibility with Google or Alexa. My personal preference is using the white light while working and then switching to more fun colors when the day is done. Making the switch between colors and brightness are smooth. Priced usually at $70, occasionally there are discounts bringing them down to $50. I do like that the Govee fills the space with light compared to the LED strips.
4. Lume Cube: Portable and Powerful Lighting
This small, but powerful Lume Cube is a great light option for those hard-to-reach places. Our typical use is under a chair or desk where a larger LED light won’t fit. This compact cube offers a range of brightness and color temperature. There are simple controls and a clear display of settings. As far as mounting options, it comes with a clamping suction mount to easily attach to devices.
My favorite feature is how the screen will show how long the light will last in that specific setting. For $50 I would say the build quality is great. To me it looked better in person than in the pictures. The Lume Cube looks professional and includes a diffuser making the light not so harsh. I would recommend using it during all video calls.
5. Hok Home Gooseneck Lamp: Flexible and Functional
Finding the right desk lamp can significantly improve your workspace lighting without the clutter. The Hok Home Gooseneck Lamp, priced at about $36, offers flexibility and functionality with its adjustable features. There are 2 simple touch controls to adjust the light brightness and color and to turn on/off.
The lamp has a smooth swivel base so you can move it to where you need it most. I tried the lamp while doing a video call which worked well, I would just turn the brightness down a little. While it doesn’t replace a monitor light bar, its ability to provide focused or ambient light makes it a perfect choice for any desk setup.
6. Keyboard Wrist Rests: Comfort and Style
Ergonomics play a crucial role in a comfortable workspace. Keyboard wrist rests can help reduce strain during long typing sessions. I explored two options: the Keychron K4 and the AOA Keyboard Rest. Now the Keychron K4 matches well with the Keychron K4 keyboard but is slightly wider than the keyboard itself and a little shorter.
Now the AOA keyboard rest is a more affordable option and actually aligns better in height and width with standard keyboards. I found that the AOA rest was my favorite because it was more comfortable. Both options are practical and a good solution for typing.
7. Sweetful Coffee Warmer: Keep Your Drink Perfectly Warm
The last gadget that I found to be worth trying is The Sweetful Coffee warmer. Personally, the temperature of my coffee is almost as important as the taste. This product runs at about $30 and accommodates various mug sizes and even small candles. There are three settings to keep your coffee at the perfect warmth.
I am someone who orders their coffee extra hot at coffee shops so this warmer does the trick. I would recommend a handle on your mug because it will eventually get too hot. Safety features include a light indicator to show when it’s turned on. This convenient product will allow you to enjoy your coffee at its best throughout the day.
