Today we are taking a closer look at the WobbleMeter results for the Uplift Desk v2 Commercial Desk. We have previously tested the Uplift Desk v2 standing desk, which doesn’t include the expandable cross support found on the Commercial model. If you’re familiar with our stability videos on YouTube, I’ve talked about how the Uplift v2 (standard) is the most stable standing desk that doesn’t include a cross support. Even though it is the most stable, it doesn’t have stability issues at standing height. The v2 Commercial is Uplift’s attempt to create a stable alternative to their original JieCang design. Let’s take a closer look to see how it did.

What is the WobbleMeter?
If you’ve never had the chance to read our WobbleMeter posts, you’re probably wondering what it is? In short, The WobbleMeter was designed to provide an objective method of measuring a standing desks wobble and rocking motions. WobbleMeter Score Range Guide
0-20 = Excellent Stability
Almost all of the desks tested at sitting height will score between 0-20. This is our baseline for excellent stability since most standing desks provide excellent stability at their lowest heights. Users in this range will not notice motion.
21-30 = Very Good to Good Stability
Between 20-30 most users will not notice the small amount of motion in this range.
31-40 = Good to Fair Stability
Between 31-40 some users may begin to notice the amount of motion in this range. This is especially true the closer the score is to 40.
41-50 = Fair to Bad Stability
Between 41-50 most users will notice the amount of motion in this range. This is especially true the closer the score is to 50.
51-60+ = Very Bad Stability
51-60+ all users will notice the amount of motion in this range. This is especially true for scores that are above 60.

Uplift Desk v2 Commercial Tested
We used the standard Uplift Desk v2 Commercial version for this test. In order to keep our results consistent, we are using a 1 ⅛” commercial quality surface. These tops are all 30” x 48” wide, using the same mounting screws to attach the surface to the frame.
