The most common and well know office chair adjustment is the seat height. To adjust the seat height on the Vera, lift your weight off the chair and pull up on the right-side lever. To sit ergonomically, you’ll want to sit at a level where you can sit with your feet firmly planted on the ground and your knees bent at a 90-degree angle.
The seat depth is the measurement from the back of the chair to the front of the seat edge. This adjustment determines how far back you sit in your chair. To make this adjustment, pull up on the left-side, top lever and slide the seat forward or backwards. The ideal ergonomic position will be at least a one-inch gap between your knees and the front edge of the seat.
The back-tilt angle can be adjusted on this chair by flipping down the left-side, lower lever to lock and up to unlock. There are four different tilt-lock positions you can choose from that range between upright and reclined. Each stop on the lever designates the recline position you sit.
Once your seat and backrest are fitted properly, you can adjust the recline tension to your liking. To adjust the recline tension in the backrest of your chair, turn the handle on the front right side of your seat. Turn it clockwise to tighten the recline and counterclockwise to loosen.
The Vera does not have an adjustable lumbar support system, however it does have a curved mesh back that helps support your lower lumbar area.
This chair has height adjustable arms, with arm cap adjustments such as width, depth, and pivot. When adjusting the arm height, hold the buttons underneath the arm caps to raise or lower the armrests. You’ll want the height of your arm rests to be at a level where you can rest your arms at your side and bend your elbows at a 90-degree angle. To adjust the arm cap width, depth, and pivot, simply slide the arm pad to your desired location.
Now that you know how to properly adjust your Eurotech Vera Office chair, you should be able to sit as ergonomically correct as possible.
