1. ODISTAR Desk Vacuum
When you have a minimalist style desk setup, with few items on your desks surface, it exposes the crumbs and dust on the desks surface even more. When I originally purchased the ODISTAR vacuum I had assumed it would only be beneficial to clean my keyboard. I personally can’t stand the nasty that builds up from snacks at the desk and just being a human.

But the vacuum ended up being great for cleaning up my entire desk surface, including the felt mat that I use at my home office setup. If your setup is like mine, I would definitely consider this vacuum to help keep your setup looking top notch.
2. Swivel Pencil Drawer
If you’re using a standing desk or prefer a minimal desk without much storage, having a place to store pens, pencils, SD cards, or small gadgets can make a big difference in keeping your desk neat. The swivel pencil drawer is a budget-friendly accessory that has helped tidy up my desk.

It easily attaches to the desk and rotates open and closed effortlessly. Previously, I used to keep my pens and other small items in dishes or holders on the desk surface, but I wasn’t a fan of how it looked.
3. Ultimate Cable Management Box
If you’re like me and consider the cleanliness and organization of the underside of the desk as important as the top, effective cable management is a must. The Ultimate Cable Management Box has proven to be the best solution for dealing with numerous cables.

This includes power strips and bulky power blocks under the desk. Made of formed steel, this cable box features grommet pass-throughs for easy wire routing and a spacious back panel, ensuring quick and efficient access to your cables.
4. DeltaHUB Desk Pad
Desk pads have become a staple in many desk setups, and personally, I find them essential for maintaining the perfect condition of my NewHeights S Series desk, which features a natural wood surface in my home office. Not only do they protect surfaces from scratches, but they also add durability.

I chose the Delta Hub pad at home, and although my current smaller desk pad can feel a bit cramped, larger pads I’ve experimented with in the past covered too much of my desk’s surface, hiding the beauty of the wood.
5. Rollerblade Wheels
Upgrading your office chair with Rollerblade wheels might not be the first thing on your mind, but these wheels have quietly gained popularity as a great replacement for traditional office chair casters. After some hesitation, I caved to the advantages of Rollerblade wheels.

First, they enhance the looks of the chair, contributing to the overall look of my desk setup. Secondly, they navigate low-pile carpets and rugs more smoothly than standard plastic casters and are safer for use on hard surfaces like tile or wood.
6. RA Monitor Arm
You must experience the benefits of a monitor arm for your desk setup, you won’t be disappointed. I use the Hover brand for my setup at the office and home. The aluminum construction of the Hover brand makes them quite a bit more expensive than the cheaper options I’ve reviewed from Amazon, but the quality and flexibility make it worth it.

Given my tendency to switch up my setup frequently, experimenting with different monitor arrangements, I needed a solution that could easily adapt to these changes. With the Hover line, you’re able to easily add extension arms or remove them, depending how you’re trying to use your monitors. These arms also feature built-in cable management that is incredibly user-friendly.
7. Monitor Light Bar
Having a monitor light bar is a game changer. Among all my desk accessories, this is the one I genuinely cannot do without. While having good overhead and ambient lighting is crucial, directing the right amount of light to the specific spot on your desk is equally important. Currently, my top pick is the BenQ with the wireless puck.

The wireless puck makes adjustments super easy and limits the opportunity of shifting the light bar around on my monitor. The Xiomi light bar that I use at home also features a puck, but I’ve found the light bleed on the monitor is much worse than the BenQ products.
8. Footrest
In my footrest experience, I’ve mostly used the Pogo aluminum footrest with its unique teardrop shape, offering a place to rest my feet and introducing some movement with its rocking feature when it’s flipped upside down. However, it can be hard and cold, making it less ideal for home use without shoes.

The Everlasting Comfort footrest provides a great alternative for home setups. It maintains a similar shape but comes with a soft cover and a squishy internal pad, making it perfect for a barefoot or sock experience. If you’re working from home, I highly recommend it.
9. MX Keys Mechanical Keyboard
For almost 16 years I’ve used some of the worst keyboards and mice. When I first switched to the Logitech MX Keys Keyboard, I couldn’t believe how amazing having a quality keyboard would be. I love the low-profile design and how the keyboard illuminates when my hands hover the keys.

I decided to upgrade my office setup with the MX Keys Mechanical Keyboard to see if that would be a better option. It turns out the MX Keys Mechanical Keyboard is a better fit for my style than the Keychron k2 mechanical I’ve used before. Being in the office and having something quieter provides less distractions; the MX Keys Mechanical is perfect.
10. MX Master 3 Mouse
Just like the keyboard, the addition of the MX Master 3 mouse has been awesome. So much so, that I have upgraded both of my setups from the old Logitech junk I had used in the past. There is a ton of customization in the MX Master mouse that makes my desk setup even more productive.

Even if you don’t utilize any of the cool features that the MX master has to offer, the better comfort alone makes it easier to use for longer periods throughout the day. One of my favorite features though is the flexibility to easily switch between my work laptop and home PC. This definitely makes the MX Master 3 mouse worth the money in my opinion.
Bottom Line
Ultimately, incorporating these 10 desk accessories into your workspace can contribute significantly to creating a more organized, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Whether it’s protecting your desk surface or improving lighting, these additions can benefit your desk setup experience.
