1. Pamo Under Desk Trays
Let’s start with the Pamo Under Desk Trays. They rank pretty high on Amazon and can be a great tool to help organize cable management. There are color options of black, silver and white. Keep in mind prices are constantly changing and these items may go in and out of stock. There are two sizes available to accommodate your desk size which are 34 and 51 inches. There are different ways to place them under the desk whether it be in a connecting row or by spacing them out. You can also face them either way depending on your discretion.

Attaching the tray itself is simple with just a screwdriver, it is ready to go in no time. For my personal set up, I chose to face the Pamo Trays towards the back because I can easily slide my desk to access the cables if needed. These trays are quite large and can hold a good amount of weight. I found some pros and cons with that. A positive is how you are able to route the cables into the open space with ease and from all locations. On the other hand, it doesn’t look as clean as some other products I’ve tried.
2. Cable Garden
The next Amazon product is the Cable Garden that sits on the floor rather than attaching to the desk. This holds all of your excess cables to give your setup more of a clean look. There are 3 boxes that come with this set. They are large enough for a power strip and multiple wires to be tucked away. Heat is able to escape with the openings on the sides and the box itself is secured with a lid.

One thing I noticed was the fake looking wood on the top of the box, which makes this product seem cheap. However, it is a sturdy item and has good functions. While using the garden box on the floor, you will need some other cable management to keep the cables from dangling. I used the Alex Tech Cable Sleeve to combine and direct them to the floor. A disadvantage of this product is how extra cable management items were still needed to keep wires together. It was also time consuming to organize all the cables at the desk level.
An alternative option is the D-Line Cable Management Box. It’s an all-black design and about the same size as the Cable Garden box. It has more rounded corners and venting on the lid. This can be another option as you test different cable management. Unfortunately, with this option, you will receive only 1 box versus 3.

3. Stageek Cable Raceway Kit
Additionally, we have the Stageek Cable Raceway Kit. This particular kit is for people who want a super neat looking setup and don’t plan on changing it too often. I purchased something similar several months prior and I was happy with how they worked. I wanted to continue trying other products. The Stageek kit includes 9 raceways and some other materials to satisfy your experience.

There are color options so depending on the color of your desk, you can choose accordingly. The first thing you want to do is attach the power strip on the bottom of the desk and make room for the raceways. Next you will measure and figure out how many will fit across the desk. The best part about this product is the adhesive on the back which makes installation a breeze.
Again, this kit does not come with everything that will tidy up my cables so I had to add in Soulwit Cable Clips to lock my cables on the back of the desk. Once that was secured, I could route my cables into the raceways. A nice feature with the raceways, the cables can enter at any point which keep everything clean. Something to keep in mind, you always want to make sure your raceway dimensions will fit all your cables.
4. Yecaye One Cord Channel
Furthermore, we have a unique item called the Yecaye One Cord Channel. This type of cable management can stand alone for routing cables or be paired with other products. I first used this product when I wanted to hide my cables coming down from my mounted TV. It created a fresh look to my living space. The Yecaye comes in handy when situations don’t allow you to hide cables in ceilings or walls.

The size of this product is small, so you are most likely only fitting 1, maybe 2 small cables within the channel cord. Another simple thing you can do is paint the channels to match your wall color which I took it upon myself to do in our studio here at work. I did have some questions on the high reviews though because it seemed like there were a few drawbacks.
I ended up having to apply double sided tape to these to make them stick. I think it would have been better if it came with it already done. Another issue I found was the raceways are pretty short so I had to put covers to connect them and make one continuous raceway. An alternate product like this one is from Home Depot. It is a 5 ft long channel that can hide cables and even comes with the adhesive already on it.
5. Anker Magnetic Cable Holders
Lastly are the Anker Magnetic Cable Holders which are a great way to keep cables under control. These sit on top of your desk. I have previously tried the Velcro version, but I just didn’t love it so I kept looking. I came across the magnetic ones and I was surprised at how much I liked them. There are 2 parts; the desktop cord keeper and the 5 cable holders. There are different color options as well.

Amazon claims the holder can stick to any surface, I tested it and ultimately it does stick to multiple surfaces. I recommend cleaning the spot you plan to stick it on and make sure it’s a horizontal and flat area. I would only pick cables that you want in arms reach and are not continuously plugged in. The magnetic holders can also be used on a nightstand to charge devices.

The price does seem a little high, but I am happy with the quality and they function as they should. I switched out different size cables and there is a limit of what it can hold. The average charging, USB and headphone cables fit just fine. An alternative I found to work is the Sinjimoru Magnetic Cable Clips.
Bottom Line
Overall, whether you prefer one product over the other; these Amazon products are sure to help you with all your cable management problems. Keep us in mind as we have other helpful cable management guides.
